1. This day dawns with auspicious name
And flowers bloom with fragrant fame

2. Raise these cups of cheer
Bringing joy and good cheer

3. And await the dawning suns
Rising bright in sweet dawns

4. See the garden, a radiant bride
In ornaments of light and pride

5. The gentle breezes come whispering
Making the blossoms dance, singing

6. Bearing the tidings of gladness
Making the flowers smile in their gladness

7. Composing sweet poems of splendor
Like glistening jewels and tender

8. Spread such tidings through the clans
For this is a work of the artisan's hands

9. And let it resound in the lands
Of the One Rich, the Lord of Peace

10. What light kindles and glows?
What moon rises and shows?

11. What pride immortal will be?
What rain perpetually?

12. Only the Master Muhammad
Allah's Mercy and Grace imbued

13. His hand, the sea of bounty
By it the valiant find booty

14. Best of all eras' possessions
Of Sa'd and Nasr's processions

15. See the rivers in the vale
Flowing through hill and dale

16. Borne are their waves of joy
Beyond sea and stream they buoy

17. For they saw the sea of boons
With ships and vessels as moons

18. So glad tidings for healing
Our Prince of Believers appealing

19. And ours the rights to rejoice
All people, lift your voice

20. If we pray most ardently
The age will say, "Amen," verily

21. Last with the lofty, guarded morals
By the white blades, brandished as laurels
