1. I visit with my heart the abode of intimacy and passion
And I seize from the hands of the breeze messages

2. And no matter how much I ask the lightning that pants from yearning
My tears preempt it, responding and pleading

3. Oh, would that my poetry and wishes were valid excuses -
Would the noble living one tend to my pleas

4. And are my first neighbors as I knew them
Loyal in kindness to whoever comes asking
