When we saw you, sorrow went away
١. الحمد لله بلغنا المنى
لما رأيناك وزال العنا
2. You won the prize and defeated the enemy
You attained might and good praise
٢. وفزت بالأجر وكَبْتِ العدى
وفزتَ بالعز وطيب الثنا
3. So praise be to God for what He has
Bestowed on us in the emergence of the brightness
٣. فالحمد لله على ما به
