1. O Abu Fadl, and son of virtue, you raise him,
So it is unseemly for another to have virtue over you,
ูก. ุฃูุจู ุงูููุถูู ููุงูุจูู ุงูููุถูู ุฃููุชู ููุชูุฑุจููู
ููุบููุฑู ุจูุฏูุนู ุฃูู ูููููู ูููู ุงูููุถูู
2. Your hands have come to me, which I cannot count,
Due to their abundance, neither ingratitude nor ignorance from me,
ูข. ุฃูุชูุชูู ุฃููุงุฏููู ุงูููุชู ูุง ุฃูุนุฏููุง
ููููุซุฑูุชููุง ูุง ูููุฑู ุนููุฏู ูููุง ุฌูููู
3. But I inform you about them with a glance,
That delights you - what has met it before is not its equal,

4. A lamb came to me, I had no doubt,
That it was a confidant of love that estrangement and separation had rendered eloquent,
ูค. ุฃูุชุงูู ุฎูุฑููู ู
ุง ุดููููุชู ุจูุฃูููููู
ุญููููู ููููู ููุฏ ุดูููููู ุงูููุฌุฑู ููุงูุนูุฐูู
5. When it stood in the sun at noon, I saw its form
Like a phantom that moved in darkness that had no shade,

ุณู ุงูุธูููุฑูุฉู ุฎูุชููู
ุฎููุงูุงู ุณูุฑู ูู ุธููู
ูุฉู ู
ุง ูููู ุธูููู
6. So I asked it, โWhat do you desire?โ It said, โSome greens,โ
And I asked it, โWhat has made you eloquent?โ It said to me, โHunger.โ
ูฆ. ูููุงุดูุฏุชูู ู
ุง ุชูุดุชููู ูุงูู ููุชููุฉู
ูููุงุณูู
ุชููู ู
ุง ุดูููููู ูุงูู ูู ุงูุฃูููู
7. So I brought it some green plants, glistening with dew,
Whole and untouched by the reaper,
ูง. ููุฃูุญุถูุฑุชููุง ุฎูุถุฑุงุกู ู
ูุฌูุงุฌูุฉู ุงูุซูุฑู
ู
ูุณููููู
ูุฉู ู
ุง ุญูุตูู ุฃููุฑุงูููุง ุงูููุชูู
8. And it remained watching it with a feeble eye,
And reciting poetry to it while tears flowed down its cheek,
ูจ. ููุธูููู ููุฑุงุนููุง ุจูุนูููู ุถูุนูููุฉู

ุนู ูู ุงูุฎูุฏูู ู

9. The possessions of death came between it and I,
And it bid farewell when farewell is of no avail.

ููุชู ุจูููู ููุจูููููุง
