1. O you of generous spirit and open hand
Who provides for people from your bounty
١. يا أَيُّها الصاحِبُ الصَدرُ الكَبيرُ وَمَن
تَكَفَّلَت كَفُّهُ بِالرِزقِ لِلنّاسِ
2. Praise be to God in my poverty and frugality
My humiliation and bankruptcy have passed
٢. الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ في فَقري وَفي جِدَتي
قَد زالَ عَنِّيَ إِنعاظي وَإِفلاسي
3. The condition is fulfilled, I have no more to seek
And in asking for help, Abbas' affliction has found a cure
٣. تَحَقَّقَ الشَرطُ وَاِستَغنَيتُ عَن طَلَبٍ
وَصارَ في اِستِ نَصيرٍ داءُ عَبّاسِ
