1. You possess the esoteric secrets and genealogies
The lofty status, argument, and ranks

2. O Ahmed of the people, o lion cub of Hussein and o
You who are, for the blossoms from the Prophet’s family, a father

3. You have come to the two finest Hasans after
A long time as a successor glowing with nobility

4. You are, for the faith, a dawn by which
It is illuminated and in the heaven of highness your forefathers are stars

5. A glory in which glory from them flows
As their springs overflowed when the clouds swelled

6. O master of the two waving banners and o
Sheikh of the two parties, o you whose manners are refined

7. You are Rafai raised in status among
The Prophet’s family and the universe’s helper and axis

8. The deputyship is yours on behalf of Taha the beloved and
Non-Arabs and Arabs have taken refuge in your lofty self

9. You are called upon when hardships roar
So Allah repels what harms have roared

10. And lions tremble in the forests if
The desperate call your name in a desert—and that is no wonder

11. Whenever you are mentioned, embers flare up,
By Allah’s power they melt and the flames subside

12. And poison turns to pure water if you are invoked and
The vipers’ venom turns sweet when it is transformed

13. And the Indian’s wound was not cauterized yet
The purest healing flowed upon it, pouring out

14. The saints are the earth’s stars—they have not ceased
And you are a sun whose brilliance cannot be veiled

15. You surpassed them in remarkable qualities that cannot be counted
So, in the universe, their masters count themselves through you

16. And you have openly kissed the right hand of the Chosen One
While the army of distinguished nobles was there

17. So they pledged to you with a solemn covenant
The mantle of virtue billows upon them from a hand of his

18. You are the protector of sanctums in every predicament
Swords recoil out of awe—they are not drawn

19. Sultan who revealed the secrets of saints’ breasts openly to him
Crossing the veils forcibly for him

20. For the lion of battlefields Murtaza
The nobility’s banner is raised through you

21. For you inanimate things are obedient and cannot harm
The branches stir intensely to the meaning of your mention

22. And if the stallion gallops at the sound of your name
Neither tiredness nor the burden slows its galloping

23. Whenever we call upon you in our affairs of pain
Evil retreats and good approaches

24. Your Lord has given you assisting secrets
Bestowed through wishing—not earned

25. Upon you is my Lord’s pleasure, o son of Fatima
As long as affairs occur or causes arise in creation

26. Regard me with eyes that are all ambitions
That give and, through bestowal, shower from their creativity

27. And take the praise of a servant whose master you are
And this is for you a portion of what is due
