2. To you both I turned, so in your presence I thought

To beautify its flaws, refine its civilization

4. For shyness prevents the reaching of its arm
And rewards preservation for the arm's bracelet

5. Oh longing of my heart, the flower of my loved one
Intentionally extended its travel with wishes

6. We were and she was like a garden that bloomed
In its meadow, wrapped in its flowers

7. And now separation has cracked us
Separating the pieces of its pillars and caves

8. By Allah, lovers are young men
Whose sorrow has cut short their lifespans

9. And the wicked and world hurt her
The rain of its evils and goods troubles her

10. Oh self, leave her matters to her Lord
For He has wisely undertaken her burden

11. And know to do good deeds in reality
For the self leaves behind its effects after it
