1. Oh, the pain of separation is grievous
An affliction, what an affliction

2. It is only cured by reunion but
Fear of enemies' gloating conceals it

3. When their troubles grow for the gnostics
And the world confounds them with ordeals

4. And circles of duties surround them
They take refuge in the Blessed Sanctuary

5. The secret of existence is unveiled for the generous
That the Witness and Master of Intercession

6. Is an eye for eyes, the hidden gem
A refuge for the weak in tribulations

7. A door for attaining good and joys
Dispelling every disturbing fear and destiny

8. Through him I hope for relief soon
As my afflictions and sorrows have grown

9. He is the ladder of hidden aid and the Lord
Of high decree, and hope of the destitute

10. My supposition of him is good, I will only see
Him as my protector in all matters

11. In my humility and lapses,
And the mountains of sins behind me

12. And in the times that wrench my sighs
And in the enemies and dashed hopes

13. And severed ties from the people of this world, and arrived
With sincerity in His courtyards

14. He would never be pleased with rejecting me
For He is the sea of hope, grace and giving

15. The refugees take refuge in His shade
To attain all wishes and goods

16. May Allah send blessings upon Him as long
As the horizon spreads the darkness and the dawn comes with a radiant rise

17. And upon His good progeny, his companions
And especially the Fragrant Blossoms

18. And upon all the followers and their families
The pious, eminent saints

19. And those who uphold the pact of their path
From their families or foreign sons

20. Abu Al-Huda hopes through them for relief from afflictions
And the success of what he desires in full contentment
