1. I have come to you to present my state,
O Messenger of the All-Dominant, the Most High,

2. O Imam of Contentment and greatest shepherd
For righteous words and deeds,

3. O refuge of the worlds, O God's proof
Against creation, O abundant bestower,

4. O evidence of existence, O manifestation of faith,
O occupier of the lofty station,

5. O knower of mysteries in the dark of divine knowledge,
And crown of eminent men,

6. And Imam of the greatest Messengers,
At the Sacred Mount of sanctity and veneration,

7. You are the radiance of every origin and nobility,
The door to your blessings is the apex of hopes,

8. And your lofty threshold is the house of grace,
The ultimate destination in the spiritual journey,

9. Through you every desire is attained
And contentment endures in every state,

10. Judgment is delivered and the door of goodness opened
With reverence and dedication,

11. You are the spirit of all things and the barzakh
That distinguishes the Divine from lords of lords,

12. You are sight itself for the blind, a corrector
Dispelling the night of misguidance,

13. You are the joy of creation, its affairs
Revolved around your days and nights,

14. You are the door without which the matter is cut off,
The path of closeness to the Majestic Lord,

15. You are the form by which the dot of creation stood
And the chains of forms were solved,

16. To him belong the attributes of processions
In the unseen, made with magnificence and ceremony,

17. And to him extends from the highest heaven
The palm of its need for questioning,

18. God has made your glory great, for you are
The orbit of the rising and the setting,

19. And the path of witnessing, the essence and miracle
Of the heavens in the court of virtues,

20. And savior of the helpless, a treasure
And aide when lifetimes run out,

21. And a sword unsheathed by God’s power
Against the lofty enemy, to split mountains,

22. Whose superiority has spread through the lands
With helping hands its long arms extend,

23. In you the company of Messengers sought refuge early on
And through your intercession attained the heights,

24. And all of them entered through your gate
The court of proximity to delivery,

25. And through you is success for all
In attaining the goal from our Lord and reason,

26. How not, when you are the spirit of creation’s body
Formed in the design of forms,

27. And Imam of guidance and most successful guide
To righteous intentions and deeds,

28. And a lamp for the worlds, illuminating
And requiting answers when questioned,

29. Call on him for matters and you will find him
A helper in their beginnings and endings,

30. And he is the elixir of the secret’s essence
And antidote for every chronic affliction,

31. He is the channel of God’s mercy and grace
Spread open for heroes,

32. He is the door of wealth for every poor one
And safe haven protecting from horrors,

33. I have none but him in the world
And I take refuge through him, he is greatest refuge,

34. And in the sanctuary of his noble precinct
I shield myself from oppressive times,

35. I see him as supporter, aide and rescue
And dispeller of approaching affliction,

36. And at his noble threshold I protect
Myself from matters come in narrow scope,

37. And upon him blessings at every instant
And peace transcending cessation,

38. And to his companions the stars, People of the House,
Our masters, apple of the eye.
