1. You are the Prophet, no lies,
You are the son of Abd al-Muttalib.

2. Take my hand Ali to the
Intended good turned back.

3. Cure my heart with guidance,
I claim descent from you.

4. Far it from you to turn away one
Who sacrificed himself for you.

5. And he came to you hoping
For your overflowing gifts.

6. And he called you fearful,
With a anxious heart perturbed.

7. Save him, O secret of existence,
O present whenever called.

8. O banner of might which
Was erected in the Highest Refuge.

9. And veil of proof upon
The hidden mysteries has been cast.

10. And line of knowledge whose secret
In a guarded tablet was written.

11. And refuge in tribulation
To dispel the sorrows sought.

12. Attend for you are the one hoped for
And the loudly pleading suppliant.

13. And fill with your bounty’s abundance
My hand toward the sorrows’ necklace.

14. And say “I have granted what you wish
So whoever comes to you loses not”.

15. And make me an abode with you always
For every inflamed terror.

16. And you are for me an excellent guardian,
O owner of the spacious breast.

17. I call You, O eye of the blind,
Answer, answer, answer, answer.
