1. O pillar of the people, long lived forever
O Ali, O lion of God, help us

2. O my refuge, O cousin of Al-Mustafa
O Imam of the Family, O most high pillar

3. The burden is heavy, take my hand
O trustee, for you is a hand with God

4. And relieve me with immediate aid
For by my life, I have no one but you

5. O father of the two grandsons, O protector of sanctity
O long armed in warding off calamities

6. You are among the Prophet's chosen family
Their elder, vast armed, relied upon

7. We called upon you for what befell us
So aid us by God, and dispel the sorrow

8. And beseech God through Al-Ridha
For through God, you untie knots

9. O Imam of the righteous and trustees
And protector of every believer

10. Rouse your resolve and note our weakness
For worry has long burdened us

11. And upon you forever
Is the best greeting from The Eternal God
