1. To you the lords of lords, the best of men hastened,
O mercy for all things in existence you encompassed,

2. O master of masters, most proud and great,
A sun in the mansion of the sky of Truth you shone,

3. And orbit of the sciences of the unseen, O knowledge of favors,
Whether I attained the meaning or was cut off,

4. O wisdom of the command in all affairs, and help
With wonders by which secrets were brought together,

5. O subtlety of the hidden, veiled talisman, glory that dazzled sights,
And the first gleam that shone under blindness explored,

6. O fold of publishing, O proof of the circle of primal genesis,
That under blindness was set forth,

7. Behold, you are a state that has always bestowed
Without ceasing, and with clear justice prevented,

8. And you are the secret of the tongue of his wisdom,
Its expressions supremely you mastered,

9. And you are the awe of glory in his presence,
Before which the heads of the great ones of the world bowed,

10. And you are the revolution of the sea of his eye that extended
In the eternal, sheer world originated,

11. And you are the rank of truth below which
All ranks you lowered just as you raised,

12. And you are the circle of sacred knowledge and the ear
That all the mysteries of the Book heard,

13. You embodied in the world of creation a position
So you came to be essence in unity imprinted,

14. You folded a heart in which the light of manifestation folded,
And an eye of grace above all creation gazed,

15. So how many times to God did the holy glance reach,
And how many of his hidden mysteries did it weep,

16. O presence, whenever existence was squeezed by
A tremendous, shocking affliction, with pleasure it expanded,

17. And O proof of a knowledge whose proofs
Its swords the rope of false claims cut,

18. And O gentle glory, by its truth
Realities of the universe in its spheres benefited,

19. And O path of conduct, by its hammers
Hopes of the aspirations were cut off,

20. And O bride of beauty, when her state appeared
The veils from the face were lifted,

21. And O reality of unity, by its position
With the belt of truth in confusing blindness armored,

22. And O imam whose judgments of wisdom triumphed,
And before which the head of submission knelt,

23. I have good opinion of you that does not waver,
And I have no hand but yours that I knocked,

24. So look with the eye of pleasure on my state, and say graciously,
Upon you from me a cloud of grace gathered,

25. And have mercy on my humility, and continue the compassion of mercy,
And mend with your favor a heart whose spirit agonized,

26. Far be it from you to cut off the poor from you, when he Came with companionship, seeking none but you returned,
And you are the most generous of those who the stranger frequented,

27. And in the open field of his generosity the steeds of destiny fell dead,
May the God of the Throne bless you, so long

28. As the sun of day set and in its mansions rose,
And your family and great companions, so long as
