1. Should I pass by Umm Ubaydah’s plain,
By Lamp of Guidance’ sanctuary, help of mortals,

2. Then let lights of mystic realms shine forth watching,
With zeal at his threshold, lion of enemies.

3. Rub your brow in his dust and fear not,
And let scent of musk burst from that dust.

4. Rejoice in shade of my father al-‘Urjā, secure,
And be glad, for all game is in breast of jar.
