1. The Messenger of Allah sought to cover up with kindness and consent
For you are the one hoped for when we encounter destiny

2. And take care to ward off hardship from us out of mercy
And say the time of hardship which distressed you has passed

3. And take us by the hem of pardon and mend our hearts
With lasting honor not encroached upon by decline

4. And forgive with an eye of amnesty and emancipate graciously
Weak servants whose burden is the narrowness of scope

5. For you are the one deputized in every disturbing event
And with the Merciful you are the best of those chosen

6. Relieve O supporter of the helpless with mercy
And be a victorious, helping defender against those who transgress

7. Upon you is Allah's prayer as long as night grows dark
And as long as the light of sun and flashing lightning illuminate
