1. In the army of my nightly passion I came, disgraced,
Hoping to attain my wishes, but became distressed.

2. I extended the hand of my intent, my heart apprehensive,
Or ceased any openings when the night grew dark.

3. And I called for the aid of Providence saying,
To You I direct my messengers remaining resolute.

4. Relieve me of my request and remedy my afflictions,
Fulfill my purpose and spare me what hurts me.

5. By Your crescent moons of witnesses, the foremost in status,
And the companions of Badr who destroyed the enemies.

6. By the eminent companions of dignity and kinship,
By those who parted the days and nights crying.

7. By the people of God's path and all of them,
And every lover content with his beloved.

8. By Your secret with God, look upon my affliction,
With revelation, and take to covering my disgrace.

9. Unleash the sword of destruction and cut off my adversaries,
And sever my rope, then whoever rose against me.

10. And say you are under my protection,
Protect me, oh greatest of beings, my refuge.

11. I implored You by the Zahra and her progeny,
Your dice with the mysteries of acceptance my appeals.

12. Show me kindness and spare me what concerns me,
And destroy my enemies with the Ahmadi sword.

13. For You are my purpose, intercession and hope,
And my succor whenever I call upon You one day.

14. The door of my hope in all my affairs,
And join my rope despite the resistant tyrant.

15. The prayer of God be upon You, come to my aid,
In the army of my nightly passion I came, disgraced.
