1. The morning breeze, if you visit Al-Zawra and Samarra
Then pass by a heart tasting the bitterness of sorrow

2. And if you pass in the morning through Al-Ghari and Karbala
And scent wafts gently towards me before the onset of grief

3. For my heart has for the meadows and their people
An ardent love with which it is filled

4. The dwellings of the Exalted family of Allah, may He honor them
And the perfume associated with them of sea and land

5. The storehouses of Allah's knowledge, heirs of His servant
The Messenger of guidance, master of mankind's chests

6. He protected the weak when they sought refuge in the shadow of their door
And the trains of hope flowed in the plains of their thresholds

7. Lions and masters whose glory secretes
Their virtues openly grew and secretly sprouted

8. Kings of kings of all eras
And supreme elite of the nation's rule

9. The lineage of the oft-returning men who
At Khaybar that door shook and opened

10. Lions in the thickets of the unseen they vanished from propriety
And left passion so the servant and the free were distanced

11. They are the greatest copy, they are the isthmus that
Its hinge is in the world of the elect secretly

12. They are the greatest barrier whose sun’s grace
Upon the scales of the highest heaven its light pours

13. They are the line of sanctity a line written
In the tablet of wisdom with the ink of majesty that only the All-Wise knows its symbolism

14. They are the landing place of secrets from the presence of the Hidden
And through them our Lord connected benefit and harm

15. They are the wave of the most High sea which
Upon the coasts of intellects has cast pearls

16. They are the highest manifestation and the presence that
Upon existence the light of its planet poured superiority

17. They are the pure temple whose significance is Most High
And in their trails comes the aid of the Chaste Secret

18. They are the unending first letter in every moment
Prolonged on its origin, the baa of beginning He has hidden

19. They are the unseen army and procession that
For its Sultan, the angels strode

20. They are for existence that ship, successful is he who in them
Clung to and held firm

21. They are the rope of all the worlds for the connection to
God, and a gate for those hopeful of righteousness

22. They are the greatest sign, and in the unseen deemed innocent
Of flaw and blemish, Glory to Him who created them

23. Through them in existence revolves the millstone of angels
And how many firm in their battlefield routed

24. Their father is the Commander of the Faithful and their grandfather
The Trustee of the Lord of the worlds, Abu al-Zahra

25. Upon them, may Allah's peace be, for through love of them
I roam upon adversity as long as I and the Secret endure
