1. By Allah, nothing is complete except Allah, for one
Who has become anxious about the events of time.

2. Indeed He is the most generous of those who give and those who
Withhold. Rarely does sorrow avail you.

3. Be self-sufficient without Zaid or Amr or someone who
Has abandoned homelands where you are subjugated.

4. Go to Syria if you wish, or to Yemen if you wish,
For wherever you come, a friend and peace.
