1. O Father of the Maiden, answer the cry
Of a servant calling you, though foes against him vied

2. And set for him destructive traps to bide
How much they spread and stirred and magnified!

3. My lord, O Father of Flowers, Defender, save
None but you is refuge when roads are denied

4. O Spirit of all creatures' bodies, aid
With your kindness him whose hope is tried

5. And say to those who are his enemies
Die in your rage and sever what you tied

6. If by arrows of might you them strike
When you shot them, O Mustafa, they died

7. And pity a poor stranger praising you
Turning to you, as messengers in you confide

8. Blessings on you from the Lord of the Throne, so long
As sun shines and travelers journey and abide

9. And on your Household and Companions and all
Our masters, people of nobility, beside
