1. O Seal of the Messengers, come to my aid with kindness,
sympathy and grace for your lost, suffering servant,

2. By the glory of your noble status my master,
And your supreme infallibility, glory and eminence,

3. Show mercy with a glance of tenderness and acceptance
To one with short reach, lost and confused.

4. My beloved, O essence of existence, I have come
To your door, guilty, consumed by passion a sinner,

5. Save him, embrace him with your support, you are the
Helper, by God's permission, of mankind and jinn,

6. And look upon him quickly with acceptance and say to him
“You are saved by God’s grace from the sorrows that burden you.”

7. Honor Abu Zahr, bestow your grace, help the ardently longing,
Wretched one, O Lion of the Adnan.

8. My Master, O Master of the lands and cause of
Existence, door of connection for the distant and near.

9. O State of the Merciful in every appearance,
And O you who came to guide with verses of Quran.

10. For your station with God, O my Master, come to my aid
With abundant grace, and protect me from my sorrows.

11. Bestow the connection of the rope after my cutting off,
And my humiliation, and treat me with generosity and kindness.

12. For your door is God’s door of grace and bounty,
And I am no sinner, O Taha, nor disobedient.

13. The enemies rejoiced at what fate stirred against me
Of tribulations that saddened and troubled me.

14. I have no aid of money, so that you may support
My backbone, or rebuild my pillars.

15. No tribal kinsmen, strong enough for me
To voice my hopes or supported by my brethren.

16. No in-laws from a wealthy folk, whose people
I see as supporters of what enriches you.

17. No loyal sincere friend, truly befriending,
Sharing the pain of my troubles and sorrows.

18. No power but You, O Best of those who walked
The earth, I feel safe in Your lofty sanctuary.

19. Bestow on me deliverance, relieve my troubles,
Be my helper, have mercy on my ephemeral body.

20. Accept my condition with favor, O Turner of
Hearts, to intimate pleasure and exalt my reign.

21. Incline with Your generosity wealth and swift
Succor, fulfill my hopes in You and my faith.

22. For You are the One I hope for after my Creator,
Your grace is God’s grace, and all belong to the Lord.

23. Blessings of God be upon You and all Your kin,
And Your eminent companions, aid of the suffering supplicant.
