1. O our Lord, O the Most Merciful of the merciful
O Giver of sustenance to all worlds

2. O You who covers His creation with veils
And relieves the sorrow of the weak and sad

3. O You who dispels anxiety with His care
O the refuge of the fearful

4. O Sustainer of birds with their fluttering
O You who has mercy on the distressed wanderers

5. O You whose sovereign authority is complained to
And whose door is refuge for those seeking protection

6. O You whom longing hearts call to
That have flown to Your threshold in yearning

7. O You whose overflowing grace and favor
Rain down on the sinful

8. O You whom with their diverse voices
All Your creation calls to collectively

9. By the sanctity of the Qur'an and the Chosen One
And the prophets, the blossoms and the messengers

10. By the masters, the angels, the Household and companions, O our Lord
And the followers

11. And after them the masters, the righteous saints
The spiritual knowers and the virtuous

12. With every humble, reverent, fearful innermost secret
And every heart filled with moaning

13. By the sincere, humble, devout worshippers
The ascetic bowers and prostrators

14. By all Your beloveds and the loyal
The truthful persevering with patience

15. By the intimate lovers consumed in ecstatic love
Prostrated at the mount and enraptured

16. By every knowledge You have poured
Into the heart of the seal of messengers, the honest, the trusted

17. Rain down veils and kindness upon us
And turn away the aggressions of the unjust

18. And strike with the sword of wrath our enemies
Until we see them as lessons for onlookers

19. And seize them with the grip of the Almighty
As you seized the community of the wicked before

20. And make for us from Yourself a helper
Against the calamities of time, for You are the Helper

21. And when You call us to our appointed time
Cause us to die, O our Lord, in faith
