1. With the thresholds of the Crown of the Messengers I take refuge
And from his abundant grace is all my hope

2. He is the sword, the sword of God, severing whoever is aggressive
To me, and my savior if time tries me

3. The lantern of existence, the door of hope, the temple of contentment

4. My supporter when the supporter is absent, and my refuge
And my fortress when time confuses me

5. The Messenger of guidance, protector of the stranger, through whom I learne
d to be content when people are not protective

6. Zealous of the harm to the cubs of his daughter
When he who had been intimate became estranged

7. With a glance from him destiny turns agreeable
And the servant forgets what has passed

8. He is the valiant, the beloved of God, his elect
And his trustee in all that has been decreed

9. He is the greatest mercy, exalted is his value
And the dawn for the night of disbelief has come effacing

10. Beloved, when I plead to him in adversity
He relieves my worries, then becomes my protector

11. Great when I face a major calamity through his status
I lessen my calamity and despise my tribulation

12. Help me, father of Az-Zahra, and have mercy on my complaint
For to the Most High Ali is my affiliation

13. By your grace, grandfather of Hussein, and by Him
Who protected you from enemies and kept you lofty

14. Be generous to the brokenhearted, for I have none
Other than you, a father, to hope will improve my state

15. Upon you, the prayers of God, O Remover of Afflictions
