1. To the Bedouin, capturer of the prisoner
The miserable, suffering Bisima sought refuge

2. And said: ransom Abu Faraj, a slave
Who called upon you, fortress of the seeker of refuge

3. Your goodness has filled the earth with renown
So relieve the longing of this poor slave

4. And you, my lord, have so many miracles
That appeared in the universe like the shining moon

5. I found you the best of God's creation
And the greatest of all with weighty honor

6. And you are the overflowing heir
Who provides for the small and the great

7. I sent my soul to your frequented abode
And told it to flutter about joyfully and fly

8. For you have set out for the sanctuary of succor
Whose hands pour forth like abundant rain

9. So do not sever, father of youths, my cord
And take my hand and be my ample support

10. I took pride in you, O two Ahmads, through excellence
And my honor in little and plenty came from you

11. And I made your love a buttress
Against troubles on an arduous day

12. And I have no other wick
To kindle when I have no flint

13. With you I braced myself in this house of visitation
And found refuge in it when my warning came

14. For you are the suns of security for us
And the family of the rightly guiding bearer of good tidings

15. So O veiled one, show tenderness
For you possess abundant merit

16. And observe my exile with mighty strength
That repairs the breakage of one who seeks refuge

17. And stay in the meadow of proximity where appeared
The king of men upon the throne
