The imam of the people, sweet of speech

3. Al-Khalidi Al-Ahmadi who
Was a saint before the age of weaning

4. The illiterate musician whose heart
Uncovered the veil of the unseen

5. The pole of the era, in his matter
It turned, and in it he stood when he was upright

6. As if in his time with knowledge
He stood atop the mount of Ali the Imam

7. A courageous scholar, approacher, connector
A deep, roaring sea when called a sword

8. In the East and West, his miracles
Are known amongst the generous men

9. From a lineage, their stories are good
Tihamah, Fayha, India and Syria

10. And inheritor of the Rafai pole from
His effects they narrate till Judgement Day

11. Kissing the hand of Al-Mustafa, refuge of the elite
Of lofty aspiration, succor of mankind

12. And grandson of the hunter, pole of existence
Offspring of Siraj Al-Din, of high position

13. Catching knowledge from the openness of his ancestors
Generous people of the house, people of resolve

14. People of the path of God, people of loyalty
People of night vigil, people of fasting

15. O son of Hussein, our perfect, brave sheikh
The noble, zealous Hashemi

16. I have turned the rein of my heart toward you and said
You are surely protected, far from injustice

17. And you in the world are dear to us
And between us, from us, in the abode of peace

18. I call upon you, my grandfather, so arise for what
I hope for, and help me attain my goal

19. For you are the answered plea in the protection
Of your grandfather, crown of prophets, dove

20. And his family, companions and saints
As long as rhyme is scented with the seal of conclusion
