1. O gazelle of the graceful people, you have sufficed me
I have become, because of my sorrow for you, self-sufficient

Necklaces of pearls made of my tears

14. And if passion kisses and hangs onto them
Take them as bracelets of beauty

15. We have never seen before your figure, oh gazelle
Moon-like in the form of a human

16. How much feeling have the chains of your hair ensnared
Above the bite of the snake

17. You have gathered in yourself God's power and rank
Wherein lies the enablement of faith's authority

18. O gentle of nature, you came closer when distant
By my life the opposites do not come together

19. So leave rebellion and rejection and join me
And fear the torment of hostility

20. There is a day when the servant meets his Master
Such is the way of the world of the Judge

21. And peace be upon you at all times
And days from the presence of utmost beauty
