1. The winds blew towards you in rebellion,
We hurried them to your square hastily.

2. It casts upon you an old love,
Making our sighs fresh in grief.

3. How much did the jealous say to us in hatred,
Secretly uttering vile words.

4. And mankind recognizes us and distinguishes, my Lord,
The good from the wicked in fate.

5. The Generous one aids us as we adhered
To the Book of God and the Traditions.

6. Far it is that the servant tastes distress
When the Helper for him is a savior.

7. We are content with Him who honored Moses
And exalted Adam and helped Seth.
