1. Our amazement at the wonders of relics
And the night of darkness and day shone clear

2. And signs of the state of mystery and might
Divine power in the act of manifestation

3. And affairs of days, flight, and delight
And cycles of revenue and expenditure

4. And the hidden, the evident, the absent, the present
The witnessed, the unseen, turns of fate

5. And blindness, insight, illusion, understanding
And tearing apart the unions of strangers

6. A decree, when formulated, confused
All minds and thoughts

7. A decree, whose threads Fate wove
With the thread of the command of the Creator

8. A decree, around which coalesced
The aspirations of the gnostics and the learned

9. A decree, around whose vast expanse flocked
Crowds of news bearers and supporters

10. A decree, which has no end, nor limit to its scope
Its conclusion has no time, and this secret flows

11. A decree, whose command rose with the secret command
So the command is as it flows

12. A decree, which was molded by gift
And bestowal to the Chosen Master

13. So the glory of its might shone through the generosity
And it passed among the great and noble

14. They knew the Friend through the Prophet, and succeeded
And perceived in him the wisdom of the Compeller

15. And through him witnessed of the pure
Divine trace, realities of mysteries

16. So they saw it is the orbit of sublime virtues
Gathering traces of the Mighty's power

17. It is the essence of blindness, which in its blindness
Was met by favors with visions

18. So the blindness of the essence shone with majesty
Veiled by beauty with lights

19. And they knew it is the reality of all affairs
In manifestation and concealment

20. It is the gate of access to God and the refuge
Spacious, protecting from harms

21. So in glorification of the power, all said
