1. My eyes overflow with shedding their tears,
And my soul rejoices in piercing its armor.

2. My spirit joins the mother of Obeidah,
So I graze freely in the hand of its meadows.

3. And my eyes see after their long blindness,
And my being is cured of its illness and anguish.

4. I rejoice in kissing the reproach of Ahmed
Before the men of God, the crown of their gathering.

5. Great is the path of the people, the origin of its principles,
Its meanings are recorded, the refuge of its branches.

6. The youth of flowers, the elders of its truth, its sheikh,
For the magnificent heights of its meanings, the trustee of its submission.

7. In it the body of gnosis became well ordered
And the spirit of its meanings folded into its ribs.

8. Approaching the palm of Hashimite Muhammed
In the presence of the holiness whose affair shone forth.

9. A nation gone astray envied him
But how can one envy the sun after its rising?
