1. For the Prophet's feast we offered petitions,
In the form of greetings overflowing with longing and praise.

2. Entrust them to gain favor through honor and support,
For his sublime gate of giving is truly aloof from the flaw of restriction.

3. We descended on his court in good faith,
And turned away from the path of the appointment seekers and opportunists.

4. From him we await kindness and mercy,
On a feast of Eid, mending the heart of a servant.
