1. With charm in his cheek and alluring glances,
His teeth were adorned with ornament and perfume.

2. His gardens blossomed into early spring,
Then came another springtime in his prime.

3. His clothes tell tales of the meadows of Muhammad,
A branch bearing all the fruits of the garden.

4. Shaykh of shaykhs, imam and eloquent speaker,
In the springtime of elder statesmen's youth.

5. O you whose beginnings are the endpoint for others
In knowledge, virtues and acts of kindness.

6. I congratulate Eid al-Adha as you sacrifice hostility
And live praised, of lofty status.

7. In an elevation, supremacy, prosperity,
Freshness, benefit and congratulations.
