1. I have remained praising you, as is your right
May God reward you well on our behalf

2. You continue being happy spreading praise
And hoarding rewards and hosting guests

3. Glory upon the supporters whose health recovered
And a lesson for insights' remedies to heal

4. Loyalty, when times betray the entrusted
Innocence, faithfulness to people, and an ally

5. Who forgives and pardons, that forgiving one
And that frank bestower to the wretched

6. A pure, sweet utterance that has always
Spun the minds in cycles of smoothness

7. If the sea hides its pearls, God has an ocean
Better than it, an encompassing sea of pearls

8. The bird of praise necessarily flew invited
By gifts of his bounties and intimates

9. His sight never oblivious of visitors
Nor his glance unaware of newcomers

10. A king's governance with an ascetic's piety
And vigor's leap with composure's calm

11. The brother of knowledge in mind and narration
Encompassed the horizon without discord

12. And this glory in life and the next - behold
Annexed to him, predicated on an annex

13. Your flowing generosity came to me though I did not ask
Nor frequented the generous hearing persistently

14. Livelihood knocked on my door though I did not travel
Knocking with my tired feet circling

15. And I met sullen faces in plenty
Flowing with letters that dazzled my wit

16. Sweetly burdened by my handkerchief's weight
More perilous after protection's veil

17. I trail it and the children, clothes' excess
Halves with it the days when we halve

18. We thank as the organs are tongues of dew
Of your hand, and we pray as time harmonizes

19. A good prayer from us and buttressed praise
And your right is not in that which you were sent for

20. May God protect the days of Imam Muhammed
For so many blessings were returned glorious

21. If naming him would restore my youth, he would
Return it to me though ranks have marched by

22. Do you not see that praising him has deprived me
To romance for the greying amidst the youth

23. Alas the easy riding litters traveled on
With the livers of outlasted patient folk

24. Alas upon the age of youth that passed
And perished, if only events would suffice

25. My bed as they said, soft temptresses
At hand and trailing plaited hair's tresses

26. A time of meeting - I seek God's pardon, if only
It would end and I'd not enjoy a arid time

27. O he who today commands sensuality, refrain
For that misguidance has passed, enough

28. O bestower of bounty to its seeker, you never
Leave off conciliating the life of man as he tarries

29. My belly is full and my back as if it were
My tongue amidst the wild desert hot
