1. I sought refuge for your poetry in the darkness, yet your teeth shone like the bright moon when arranged
Alas! What a glorious sight amidst the meadows

2. That appeared but did not appear like the dawn or the dusk
A crescent whose ascent was auspicious but a star in its encampment was set ablaze

3. I found the love in it false when I found magic in its eyelashes true
The critic claimed I corresponded with him, I wish the critic had spoken truth about our correspondence

4. By my father whose red tears I shed
In love for him, so if he sought help he outdid

5. Oh what concurrence between passions and tears
One is shackled while the other broke free

6. Arise o lad and bring it to me in love
Yellow and radiant like the glow of sunset

7. Dictates abundance while the pen writes on paper
And stalks bow down for greetings

8. As flowers raise their visitors over meadows
Maybe a time of correspondence will renew for me

9. That had a covertly stolen enjoyment in pleasures
Do not believe that my heart has asked

10. That time and those words are fabricated
News may conflict but dew

11. Brings news of the triumphant king concurring
A king of treasure troves whose promises and threats

12. Complain to his hands of separation and distinction
The sea is in his palms and in his chest

13. So take and if you intend it then fear drowning
The one who would sacrifice himself for the people

14. And seek refuge from the injustice of calamities at daybreak
The sword has a stream in his right hand

15. So it overflows on its banks bloody red
With his palm holding a pen that has no complaints

16. The matters are settled by his merit, no patching up
The seas flow so if he flung his wars

17. That sea would not cleave in rage and rupture
In it are hopes for sciences and dew

18. If it overflowed smoothly and if words flowed gently
Like a branch made more beautiful by the prime of its flowers

19. And generous with ripe fruit and first pickings
A man succeeded who cast the hand of his hopes

20. To the station of Ishmael one day and clung
The sought and the horizon obscured alive

21. And the seeker and fate intimidated wrathful
By God how much loftiness of his glory bowed down

22. A head that had indomitable pride beyond endurance
His sovereignty marched and elongated its journey

23. Becoming continuous on necks and reaching the neck
He wanted to make his objectives run

24. Towards life and so sweat silenced him
Victory, the fertile world, and guidance

25. Whether reconciling, generosity, or speaking
I met him so he healed my hopes and I embraced

26. From his palms the sweetest embraced
The scents of goodwill do not escape

27. My state so smell the perfume from my fingers
O king, victorious one a prayer

28. That leaves enemies burning in rage
I achieved my purpose sincerely and cut off what

29. Was between me and the people of time of burdens
So I will thank the good grace you bestowed on me

30. The thanks of meadows with abundant blossoms
With praises you qualified me for their composition

31. And my neck became emancipated and stolen
Gems I served you with though

32. You inclined towards higher gems with proportion
