١. إنَّ اللّديغ هو السليم كما رَوَوْا
ولكن بقلبي أيّ لدغٍ كامن
2. And though my critic hopes for me to show patience
Then I and the critic have an untroubled core
٢. ولعاذلي طمعٌ بصبري عنكم
أنا والعذول إذاً سليما الباطن
