1. On the likes of her, let our tearful eyes weep
And let meteors and red stars shoot in her arena

2. We lost the children of this world, so when
The faces of our wishes were disappointed, we lost the children of the other

3. For your loss, O Ibrahim, our hearts have become
Inflamed, no coldness in its burning ember

4. While you are in the Gardens of Bliss, congratulated
For what you used to suffer in pursuing life

5. It exposed and pained the heart, so excellent
Are dwellings in which one neither starves nor is bare

6. The frequented mosque cried for your loss after
You dwelled in it for ages defiant to the abodes

7. And left it after settling, travelling
To the Garden of Refuge, so Glory to the One who ascended

8. It is as if the lamps of darkness in its horizon
For your loss are the fires of youth and remembrance

9. It is as if the prayer niches erect in its chest
For the separation of that chest have curved backs

10. You went away and left the dwellings and its people
In loss, complaining of hardships and burden

11. So who after you for the arrows of night? They
Are broken, neither mended nor sharpened

12. And who for modesty from evil and the children of mankind
Slaves of wishes, and it has bowed down with burning

13. All those with wealth will know tomorrow
When the Scale is set up, who will complain of poverty

14. Peace be upon you from one awake,
Patient when a mortal cannot be patient

15. And from one with withered cheeks who will precede tomorrow
To a goal for which reasons are praised

16. Does the guide know that our eyelids
Are scattering pearls for him in absence

17. And that sorrow like grief has taken a stroll
So numerous are the slain and cheap the captives

18. Oh, many are the nights in which, from the clamor,
It has protected the slumbering eyelids in heedlessness

19. When the entertainer laughs, his mouth veils
Likewise the worshipper protects the mouth and mouth

20. To God a heart after Him in discord
Until it saw the row of Resurrection and Gathering

21. You were whom I met while my chest embarrassed
So you opened ease for me and expanded my chest

22. And I kissed your right hand while my mind thirsty
As if I was kissing the pouring rain from it

23. My patron, I used to hope for you for supplication
So do not forget me in eternity with the Greatest Supplication

24. The rain quenched land that dissolved with its soil
And if I seek rain from seeing you, be the rain

25. And whoever hopes for reward in praise
I hope for reward in praising you
