1. The one with strong determination yet gentle in manners
I love him in both states, he is unique

2. He is Turkish in origin, though in his eyes is the Indian sword
Bring his waist close to his thighs

3. And look at its decoration over his lower back
And admire the softness of his waist complaining of its state

4. And from richness, the buttocks complain
And I, leaving him in love, as if

5. A human whose eyes are afflicted with epilepsy
I ransom his slender waist when he walks

6. And when he wants, he is smooth and gentle
His figure is wrapped in the foliage of his hair

7. So I see the crescent in a paradise of coils
And I see the path of righteousness by leaving him

8. But my heart is inclined towards my mischief
And my rebellion against him with a snatching waist

9. And a thieving, flirty glance
If the one who cried my tears in his love fails

10. It's because of too much pleading and importunity
And I almost believe him, then he makes me hope through him

11. That he would change the pearls on necklaces
Neither despair holds me back from him, nor hope

12. As if I stand on the border between them
And perhaps the one blamed, when he cries

13. Repels me early by clearing his hearing
What is between me and the prudish in the obsessed

14. I have in love a persisting, intimate friend
Indeed, I seek connection to him not for anything

15. Except to see my chastity in the connection
My words were not disorderly during my twenties

16. Could it be disorderly actions in my fifties?
It is a trait inherited from the wise ancestors

17. No blemish was blamed on me in my youth or in
When I trace my Arab lineage

18. The stars almost count as my allies
And virtues that I have heard, which are

19. To the noble listener like spears
And perhaps a blossom whose chastity is for gathering

20. Even if it were the river of Al-Mujarr
How patient are the days in neglecting

21. My right, and I prepare for them without classification
I complain of the delay of time, yet these are

22. My traits with him, and these are my ancestors
Kindly he made religion and life dependent

23. On my state, so with you, my plea gains favor
If I do not stay as a guest at your door coming

24. Then make my letter one of the guests
And the gates of the village of his return

25. Not to allow deletion of an annexation
Where is there for hopes like you a sponsor

26. Or where is there for states other than you sufficient?
You are the aid when the clouds fail

27. The promise of the land in the later times
And the one sought for succor, with thousands

28. And the singular nurtured above thousands
The rain of Damascus and the Nile of Egypt, if

29. One day dispersed and the trip of union narrowed
They stretched to the Judge of Judges, the hand of hope

30. So he stretched it with the habit of bestowal
He is the Kaaba of virtue around which

31. The people of purposes made pilgrimage
His pens are like arrows, precise

32. But for the delegation they are like gifts
They were enveloped with the promise of the hopeful, so all

33. Of them seek to attain the wished for destination
In the palm of the pouring of bounty, as if they are

34. The gleam of lightning in a high, dense cloud
No flaw in him but a bestowal causing embarrassment

35. Above the effort of praise, exceedingly generous
An idol whose radiance heals, as if

36. In the eyes of enemies, from it are healing ointments
Attributes of glory that yielded fruit, so they hummed

37. With prose in which the tongues of poets sang
And virtues that extended for ages

38. So its precedents ceased, excellent in order
And pride of a house of nobility and authority equivalent

39. To no house whose pride poetry exaggerated with embellishment
A house which Abu Dulaf constructed and with his eloquence

40. Made brilliant in honor and nobility
None of the Arabs prided but Hashim

41. So they became around it the rabble of the riffraff
Or the noble Persians obeyed its dignity

42. Their shoulders would have been severed, powerless and weak
It remains over the passage of time

43. Lofty, possessor of greatness in builds
O you whose abode of pride, when proven no longer

44. Requires its evidence to be unveiled
By your resolve, sciences became clear, all

45. Agreed conclusively without dispute
After you the early ones prayed and their

46. Traditions from one who affirms or denies are secured
By you the noble law gained distinction in station

47. And the guide of its meadow set firm
It is protected by a spear whose possessor guards you

48. And a coat of mail made for you covers it
And if the king sought your view in the darkness of

49. A difficult matter, you elucidated the dawn clearly
Wondrous is one like you, who neglects my state

50. After that care and relief
And I have the summer, yet in my loved ones is a heat

51. For worries above the heat of the resort
And it is enough of my implements that nothing in me but

52. My tongue withers in the winter
And of afflictions, that my resolve and youth

53. Lead astray, if only the afflicted were enough for me
And for the distance of your door, a fire blazed in the courtyard

54. Throwing sparks like the sides of fingers
Despite that the soil of your tomb dries my happy state

55. But it is the treachery of the arid times
And if I sat back, then the riding beast of my praises is

56. Continuous of necks and charging ahead
Take them to you, spoken words

57. On the day of pride and the solution of difficulties
I composed them for you while the stars are as if

58. In the horizon, exhausted from the tiring journey
And the eagle rises between them with striding steps

59. But they are fearful of witnessing
So it came to you of the genus of beauty, unique

60. And the composition is like its structure, just
Among the people is one who walks on two feet in

61. Composition, and one who walks on heels
