1. A house of the cheek-marked, have you inhabited an abode,
Though my heart with passion for you is afflicted,

2. May God give you a heart that remains devoted,
With yearning and tears that remain continuous,

3. Expressing the secret of love though I lose it,
For you a tear expressing flows neglected.

4. It's enough of sorrow that I don't watch a glance,
And don't look upon delights except imagining,

5. Nor do I consult the specter fearing its departure,
Since I tasted the flavor of parting at first,

6. And I swear if imagining gave falsely,
It would meet the eyelid closed with the opening locked,

7. And I sing while love's youth their matter saddened,
So say in the most saddening sorrow a loving and blaming one,

8. A gazelle whose eyelids twittered and dimpled them,
So we both went into love's valley strolling.

9. If you want me to eulogize with descriptions of his mouth,
I'd begin with In the name of God in the poem first,

10. Beware the lethal disasters of the edge of his sword,
For he broke not the eyelids except to kill,

11. I'm afflicted by him who made sleepless the tender-eyed doe,
And the doe's torture remains longer,

12. If it appears or touches or protects or neighs,
Then neither the moon, the inscriber, the lion or the hills,

13. And they said does the gazelle narrate it at dawn?
So I said the gazelle doesn't glance in empty wilderness,

14. Don’t deny the sweetness of his amorous glance,
For I see him with drowsiness made smooth,

15. Don’t be astonished at his firmness and composure,
If not for his cloak clasping his shoulder he would slip,

16. Tomorrow the moon will tell of its flaw, but indeed,
It saw boredom in its creation so it tossed and turned,

17. And the honey's saliva equals the pleasure of his saliva,
So the thirsty said how bashful is the honey-tongued!

18. Blessed is He who clarified the leaves of faces,
And elucidated verses of mouths and recited,

19. And built the rightly-guided king a position,
Of glory that fills the praising supplicant,

20. A king who ascended the shoulder of sublime before youth,
So how when I saw him adorned?

21. Generous of praise, he attained the stars seated,
And surpassed the limits of sublimity slowly,

22. The valleys fear the decline of his brilliance,
And his palms blew except to ignite,

23. They say he attacks with his right, his left,
So his generosity poured forth, which poured first?

24. And who in the heights preceded his approach,
Indeed they are the habits of his first forefathers,

25. Kings when time stood for pride,
Their nights of rule became adorned,

26. Nobles who sought refuge then took over their narration,
So it saddened throughout the land and facilitated,

27. Their fingers beneath the ground a fourth of a hundred,
And their feet suffice that they tremble,

28. They ascended what they ascended of misfortune then demolished,
So they increased over what they paved of elevation,

29. Congratulations to the hand of a king, a full moon and a brilliant star,
When it drips on a day of dew and exults,

30. Let the rain leave the fire of lightning and let the towering mountain persist,
And direct it if the time tends and shifts,

31. For Isaac's comfort the truest promise,
And its open plain the firmest lock,

32. There you find easier gifts that leave the ground,
A purpose that leaves the water pouring,

33. And I hunt from the lineage of kings when it inclines,
I saw an expert in rule enabled,

34. A brother of generosity whose affection the virgins desire,
So you find him most gentle when blamed,

35. His assistance approaches binding the vein, and indeed,
He remained aloof until conversing with the lower star,

36. May the generous of both worlds sacrifice for him, for he
Is the most righteous of them, wealth and family,

37. If the peers compete, his pride comes
With this praise stopping the considerate,

38. With the bright guidance knowledge radiant,
With intuition the universe smoothing,

39. With the purest logic, an unleashed lion,
With the greatest calm, a tempting young camel,

40. With asceticism, continuous rising as if,
Flirting with some of the darkness of night, powdered with kohl,

41. With valor ask about him the swords in the fray,
And the plains of eggs were most eloquent,

42. If it throbbed one day in the stern valley,
Wearing the spotted hide robe knotted,

43. He resolved it so the night of his concerns dispelled,
And if the shining dawn resolved it, it wouldn't have dispelled,

44. With a thirst whose negligence appeared,
The paths of sustenance were difficult for him until twisted,

45. He ascended and drank when it called him as if,
Conversing from the basin of the clouds a spring,

46. And a desolate desert whose end he severed,
So you met the known and left the unknown,

47. And I told my guide disembark me for these,
Are his dwellings, then rein in and trust,

48. There I promised the elegant gardens, luxury,
And neighbored the clouds feeling at ease,

49. And spent in the shade of bliss nights,
That if shook would be twinkling stars gathering,

50. No fault in its luxuries but that,
It bestows bending the laden shoulder, adorned,

51. And if I exhaust my praise, but indeed,
My falling short from it is to say so I'm bashful,

52. To your door, oh son of the most generous, I sent it,
To accompany praise from others arid,

53. And I sent it fresh as a laden branch,
And the meadow's blossom irrigated and the gentle breeze a chain,

54. Impregnable in meaning, pulling with its head,
Noisily, and throwing from the dog's running a cub,

55. I fermented for it my mind and its words diffused,
As if I censed aroma in the pot a bundle,

56. And emancipated my soul from laziness I promised it,
So I harvested but not my heart and for the emancipated the oath,

57. And you are who assisted me so you created it,
If not for shame, the soil wouldn't be wetted,

58. So if the blind tries it before, he wouldn't say,
It's easy for us to say and do,

59. And how many like it I gifted folded smoothly,
It almost out of intense ardor infiltrates,

60. The reciter utters it so its words fill,
The mouth of vinegar a pearl or the mouth of hostility a cinder,

61. You gathered in your comfort's blessing its arts,
As the necklace gathers beads threaded,

62. And the like of you whom its beauty's hands wore,
So it increased, doubled its fortune thus perfected,

63. You remained for this time extending if sorrow,
Your hands so it doesn't cease to untangle,

64. And you remained for the pride of glory ascending,
And who sought the highest glory ascended,

65. I swore an oath none like you in existence,
So Islam deemed I unbind,
