1. Love is imposed upon me for Ghada
Whose glance makes me long for the beloved

2. In it I fashion praise and poetry
For my brother the minister with hidden pearls

3. Hello to the minister's days and his achievements
For both are the best trusted by the king

4. The ministry remains known
By the trusted minister of the exalted and firm king

5. Praise said to his cheerfulness and honor
Be astonished by gems, O Saad Saad Al-Din

6. Not everyone whose door is far is inaccessible
By good fortune, those who meet him cheer me

7. With the accelerated allotment of his favors
And with the panegyrics in it in verse

8. The darkness fell and I missed your beauty
And called, O you of justice, your brightness

9. O my reproacher in love or
O night, calm your slumber

10. My passion is like the generosity of Ibn Al-Adi
So be generous with the drinking companions and change your notion

11. Chief justice, brother of piety
The seekers will never lack your favors

12. You have perfected my art in praise
And in dew and knowledge, your art

13. So people know that I
In poetry or in virtue, it is you

14. So I will thank you as long as I live
And if I die, you shall thank me
