A lightning over Homs like a fluttering heart

2. O He who made my heart in Homs, indeed
You have roasted your longing one until he burned

3. Until the Imam of guidance returns
Good fortune aids to separate the distinguished from the common

4. With him I make the greatest crown for his supremacy
Which inclines the praise to the rhythm of prose

5. From the blessings of the Giver of all, glory to Him who
Adorned from His morals what He created

6. When I write a line in his praise
It shines in the sheet the light of dawn

7. So it only increased what increased from
His whiteness above the whiteness of paper
