1. Joy erased that grief brought forth,
The mourner smiled before he frowned.

2. Streams of tears and good tidings intertwined,
Both flowing, none ahead or behind.

3. Our tears flowed like rain streams at dawn,
Reviving the land of a generous king.

4. Whose noble traits we knew to be kind and fair,
May the hand of favor remain on this gracious king.

5. Two kings gone, one to his grave against my will,
The other to captivity, though destined to prevail.

6. A palm tree has two branches that equal in might,
One withered while the other saw life and light.

7. We lost a protector of the wilderness,
And found a perfecter of all things precious.

8. When the best king's rule is recalled,
An era like his seems to return after all.

9. He restored the house till it appeared the same,
In rhyme and praise, perfectly framed.

10. An heir from a line of inherited rule,
Rose as virtuous royals reputably do.

11. Meeting the blows of fate steadfastly,
Firmly resolved as counsel flows judiciously.

12. Dispensing favors, deterring every foe,
His arrows strike fear with each skilful throw.

13. When the king who maintained order passed away,
Chaos crept like night vanquishing day.

14. As if the pillar of the house still stood intact,
You rose, most virtuous and strong in pact.

15. No dynasty fell, no clan was undone,
With you, leader of men, fortune's favored son.

16. By He who granted you worthy traits so grand,
You rebuilt its lofty structure as planned.

17. Spreading the faith with the Caliphate renewed,
As you assumed command, astute and shrewd.

18. If the star of Ayyub has flared out and died,
Your virtues shone radiant, a guiding light.

19. If Al-Mu'izz's era has now passed,
Yours revived, with blessings meant to last.

20. May peace be upon him as long as stars shine bright,
And may God's mercy be upon him when he takes flight.

21. He was rain, you his heir, praise his name!
May he keep you a sea of gifts the same.

22. God gifted you the finest traits and more,
The noblest morals from an esteemed ancestral lore.

23. With you joy abounds, sorrows are no more,
You made our happiness bloom, lament we ignore.

24. With your name the world is graced,
Glories abound, as fate has traced.

25. Your merit leaves words helpless,
Your might silences the jealous.

26. You revived the lives of those brought near,
Son of Ayyub, or son of Mary, it is clear!

27. You renewed, son of virtue, knowledge of the faith,
Or generosity, a supreme life you breathe.

28. In peace, your sword quenches thirst,
In war, it spills blood, as you are the first.

29. The mention of your palm brings wealth untold,
Kissing your feet cures thirsts of old.

30. Yours is the throne, by descent and worth,
Each end crowns you the lord of earth.

31. You're suited for rule or for steeds bred for war,
When named Caliph, the truth became clear.

32. O king whose resolve brings triumph, I am devoted,
To praise you in rhyme, my soul promoted.

33. My words hastened to you, my hands extended,
I am compelled, by you fully attended.

34. Nights I compose odes of your father's glory,
And yours, the greatest throne in story.

35. With gifts sublime I rise before the throne surrounded,
In describing them I remain absorbed and engrossed, spellbounded.

36. I see your vision in ruling clear as day,
No astrologer can show the way.

37. Long may you live and in safety reign,
As the people wish, may you joy attain.

38. Walk in God's safety and lead aright,
Bringing joy to the people, their lasting delight.

39. You restored times of goodness and praise,
Filling the eyes, nose and mouth with days

40. Of bounty and grace, none can deplete,
So on you and your father, my praises repeat.
