1. The cultured and the wise benefitted from my saying,
They grazed the meadows of my words.
١. عندِي استفاد ذوو التأدُّب والذكى
قولاً نباتياً رَعوا روضاته
2. So I am the most deserving to utter the words of Ahmad,
When men pluck words at their blossoming.
٢. فأنا الحقيق بقول أحمد من إذا
قطفَ الرجال القول عند نباته
