1. Never shall your promise be twisted by forgetfulness,
Nor shall kindness of your face be swept away by favor.

2. O you, upon whom my wakeful eye stood fixed,
I swore no human shall turn my eyes away from you.

3. In you is my romance and well-ordered praise of
Muhammad - so my poetry is of consequence in the world.

4. Your noble ranks suffice both in secret and openly,
So blessing upon your secrets and your declarations.

5. Rejoice in the Feast, O Feast of the Virtuous, still
Adorned by praises that circle around you.

6. I inhabited a house of loyalty or praise in you,
As if I were Salman or Hassan.

7. An anthology of praise you own stands eminent
As my anthology of praising you stands eminent.
