1. Forever thus, O Ayyub's kin, your rule
Extends through East and West, without constraint,

2. If you should water with your gifts the shoots,
Fruits from its dew and leaves would flow in train.

3. Though obstacles have stayed me from the quest,
To pause before that door I still am fain.
