1. No, and your eyelids are wholesome,
I know not what the tablets say,

2. I am busy, O friend, with looking ahead,
And averting from them with weeping eyes.

3. None knows who blames the redness of my tears,
That my heart for you has unceasing wounds.

4. O beautiful of cheeks, the kiss of beauty
Prostrated towards it the faces of sailors.

5. You have poetry and stature, if they were
A banner, it would be the banner of joys.

6. And a brow, if I mention its radiance,
I spend the night weeping for the morning.

7. A nature in me for love like what was created
In Ibn Al-Atheer, the nature of generosity.

8. The master with whom poetry flowed
And the goods of praise flourished.

9. The generous one who speaks to the hopeful
Of bounty, leaving his palms from generosity.

10. Bestower of money with fingers that
Preserved the kingdom from all sides.

11. An ambition that ascends to the honor of youth
And support that comes near to the attainable.

12. How much we frequented his abodes of virtue
And attained salvation and success.

13. And we rushed to his blessed fingers
And won the five apparitions.

14. No honored chastity rises up
Without legitimate wealth.

15. So for his palms and wealth are battles
We are in the utmost reform from.

16. The lightnings said to the smiling one
The ways of seriousness other than the ways of play.

17. The meteors flowed high perhaps for me
And for the transgressor its extent in scandal.

18. And the hand of time established Ali
For issues the spears of old age struck.

19. So he surpassed them in sublime thoughts
And counseled them with pages like tablets.

20. Every loving breast inclines
Between its arms the palms of struggle.

21. So it is a wall over kingdoms protecting
And the door of sustenance like a key.

22. O refuge of the weak, the call of a slave
Seeking refuge from the tyranny of time.

23. Of beautiful odes it manifests
And they need the glance of ugliness.

24. Echoes complain of lacking glory
The people in it became like barking dogs.

25. So return me to the events and see
For my reward with you, not for my praise.

26. Sublime is He who created the light of your company in existence,
And glory to the Splitter of dawn.
