1. O you who have renunciation on the path of asceticism
A state and insight into difficulties

2. Tell me what is ambiguous, make clear
And in it describers are behind

3. Two letters are dictated without pause
And it is said a letter

4. And it is, as you see, light
In it is subtlety and in it is elegance

5. Despite it being of wondrous matter
It pulls heavily, yet in it is subtlety

6. And if you reverse its letters
Then a town you can barely describe

7. Its riddles in the morning and evening
It is not hidden nor concealed

8. I mentioned it in description after description
So it does not miss your hearing a description

9. And if an extra is hidden, then turn away
From it and let my speech suffice

10. For my words of redemption are like me
By God, in it has become weak
