1. To you, the cupbearer, from me if I am
Seeing tears of fear cutting through the echo

2. And beware of the radiant cheek it rises from
For I have not found guidance in its fire

3. I have taken away so no worshipper remains with me
And the wine jugs are not bowing down

4. And I am not seeking the prayer niche of a tavern
That was once a shrine for my love

5. Enough of the crimes I discerned today
That if I do not change tomorrow, what disgrace!

6. My God has extended the hand of hope
And your generosity is best to reach it

7. I have offered fathers and offspring so how can I
With anything left when the origin and branches are gone

8. Generous tears have overflowed from me doing
What will guide repentance

9. By my soul, people before us have gone ahead
And called us if only we could hear the call

10. Their bodies traveled the path of the mounted
And some moaning of those arriving was their limit

11. They camped in the desert waiting for us
For a journey that decides we must provision

12. Fereydun in their deeds with his actions
And how many of them led a mobilized army

13. They equaled in number, under the soil both enemy and loved ones
So no difference between the loved ones and the enemies

14. Ask time, did it spare anyone with grey hair
The morning it turned the cup or refused again

15. And did the days leave for knowledge and the sublime
And generosity that victorious king

16. And did it leave for the son of Ali
And did it accept ransom from us for the ransom giver

17. Succor of the world, my hope and fear
Flame of the sublime, star of guidance, planet of dew

18. Come, in the way of God we determination our minds
And tomorrow knowledge in the belly of the earth lies sheathed

19. Despite our death its splendor wanes
And the echo around his dust answers us

20. We sang for an age in the shade of his access
But for how long did that age enrich and satisfy

21. We visit a protector whose affliction neighbors him
And reap gifts from one whose hand touched another

22. And we praise the accustomed praise though
To each their share of time as accustomed

23. Until it fulfills its happy hopeful end
And returns to the next a martyr glorified

24. Leaving Ismail's pillars for his house
A foundation inviting to it Muhammad

25. A king containing in his reign his finest qualities
So excellent the attribution, self, and purpose

26. He has an aspiring, lofty, determined resolve
That if it ascends, aspires to the most sublime ascent

27. If it reaches the abode of bliss in his reign
His determination refused but eternal bliss

28. While Muhammad, brother of the king, lies awake
So many worshippers beneath the soil have slept

29. Renouncing life when reign and rule face him
While few renounce when encountering both

30. We gave him ruling a righteous state
But that superiority with souls as ransom is little

31. He minded me in the victorious reign an alliance
And did not forget a poem or purpose for me

32. And witnessed me the martyr's covenant with favors
Whose kindness refused not to be binding

33. O king we invoke for peace and war
And for religion, life, valor, and bounty

34. O you who tread the illuminated path of piety
And build the fortress of kindness with foundation

35. O you who placed the sword in your hand without harm
Did prominence place the sword where is gentleness?

36. At the most blessed times you set out for purpose
And return with increasing eminence

37. The returns of God's grace upon you are beautiful
So do not dismiss hope or dread harm

38. How often you went praised in your journey
And returned with the return happier and more praiseworthy
