1. We built and settled, then they build and settle
And we set this age in motion, and it settles

2. A house is but a living grave, so it behooves
To beautify its condition and adorn

3. It reminds one of the Gardens, pleasant is its abode
So one strives to attain it, however one can

4. What a life for an afterlife you called
What a house whose blessings are clear

5. Quick blessings, though one complained of pain
How can the pious fulfill his debt?

6. My God, how beautiful a dwelling you made for the living
So make the second dwelling through Your pardon even nicer

7. I do not despair of the Bountiful's pardon
It suffices me to be hopeful and believing
