1. My Lord, may we live in prosperity
I am a happy Arab servant herein

2. The verses elegantly built as his glory
Our praised one has composed this poem

3. O you who is supported by piety
He is the Guided, Guide, and Rightly-Guided

4. Thus every night is a season
In your spacious shelter and days are a feast

5. From your bounty knowledge and wealth together
You have two vast seas outstretched

6. And I complain to some people in
The night of mid-sha’ban like the lonely one

7. They have assigned my love stubbornness
While they enjoy sweets and my heart burns
