1. The garden's breeze extolled the clouds' virtue
While hillsides donned cloaks of olives green

2. Between unveiled light and flowers laughing
In sleeves, a pleasing sight and scene

3. If earth has treasures, these flowers are
Strewn by palm fronds over gold dinars

4. Before each house, a garden lies
Between villages, a meadow vies

5. Have you not seen leaves vying
To captivate hearts fully

6. Seize joy, my friend, when time allows
All seasons we let slip away

7. As life meanders, let joy hold sway
Best I recall was our hunting sortie

8. To seek quarry, most propitious
We caught beasts stealthily

9. And did to birds more than requisite
When time came to shoot partridges

10. Happily we strode, faces joyous
In company judicious and just

11. And lads like full moons luminous
From each a heavenly comet

12. Leaving clouds of dust frenetic
Sweet youth, erect like spear

13. After moon joined bow, sincere
But for fear of bow in hand

14. Paper would sing under sleeves so grand
In his grip, tender limbs

15. Like the new moon slaying lives
Green and flowery, marvelous

16. Among meadows so wondrous
Mouths gaping, seeking feathers

17. As if notes they gathered
Like a Nun about water

18. Or conjoined eyebrows rather
Born for joy, though deaf as stones

19. Hearing mothers' urges and tones
Alas, these comets he lets fly

20. Piercing the dark, starry sky
As if shooting devils down

21. With meteors, never to frown
Until we reached a charmful place

22. Brothers true, smiling face to face
So fine in beauty, serious and humorous

23. Aimed sincerely or facetious
Birds above, descending

24. As if to water conjoining
We did not stop sharing

25. Tales of bygone hunting ventures
Until the horizon donned garb of poppies

26. And the West swallowed the sun completely
Musk spread from skies high above

27. As heaven's cheek blushed in our love
The group turned to observation

28. Witnessing from dusk's station
As birds in their abode retired

29. They watched with eyes untired
Like lions fierce in the darkness prowling

30. The moon stars in blackness fouling
Flocks of birds arrived

31. Like lines of prose described
Blessed the lines of seasoned fowlers

32. Dotted with letters from rifles
Each refined Tamm deserves the name

33. His brilliance gleaming like Full Moon's flame
Their necks adorned with morning's light

34. Below darkness's skirt in the night
All beauty and perfection endowed

35. As if each in horizon a cloud
Accompanied by a dusky goose

36. And a grey Francolin let loose
Before them a colorful female

37. Excelling in beauty, details
The hunter reaps what he's sown

38. The colorful are most finely grown
Sometimes a partridge strutted by

39. As if atop vigor he trod high
An eagle descended from mountains hiding

40. In stars it nested, confiding
Covered in dust, strong in hunt

41. Crafting from ruins vocab to vaunt
Each coot walked bizarre in a way

42. Phantom birds in array
Through darkest vales it walked

43. From Baghdad to Egypt it stalked
Goading on a destructive eagle

44. Lowering birds' gaze, forever regal
When flock finished its travail

45. Connected threads that had failed
Among white clouds is one named sentinel

46. Many nights it stood as one
Urging nobles of highest ilk

47. Over other cranes to soar and bilk
Each hawk studied prey closely

48. Like lightning o’er darkness brightly
One white as clouds, well-arranged

49. Why not, for it is sentinel
Guarded by a strong, towering

50. Among birds a Moses bestowed
Besides those of special qualities

51. Named in hunting as Duck Catcher
Black one whose chest a patch

52. As if guiding light in the pitch
Our bows never missed them

53. Striking with archers' vision
Until their breasts were bloodied

54. Fallen over dust heavily
As if at Qays shrines kneeling

55. What sin to kill, they ponder, squealing
Following the mood of night and daybreak too

56. Both lovely scenes, nothing eschew
O glorious prey appealing to the eye

57. Two faces, pleasing companions thereby
We did not stop until more game secured

58. Royal prey with falcons allured
That which souls of hunters desired

59. Becoming for quarry cupids fired
We set out saying God's name, fate incurring

60. Gliding regions with fastest racing
Horses flanking prey where'er it veered

61. Like shadows o'er it steered
Hooves unbounded sought to run

62. As if the four winds they become
Pleasant, of varied stunning hues

63. As if gardens donned floral shoes
Red the lightning about which we knew

64. Beauty's truth is red, is true
Yellow ones like gold coins

65. Pleasing palms of falconers refines
Greyish straight as arrows in full flight

66. Paper bright as stars in light
Galloping, robes flow back

67. With arrows and parchment in their pack
Chestnut like verdant life

68. How not, for it is green and rife
Sorrel dominating steeds' run

69. Thus darkness in darkness won
Youths above were like trees

70. Stars rising in the Atlas' seas
Belts equipped with weapons

71. Each arrow heading to fortune beckons
Every plume kept feathers from resting

72. As if for guests' hearts manifesting
With shapes like letters engraved

73. Read by guests when cravings caved
An ostrich like Jim, robust and able

74. While the eye sparkled like Mim notable
Yields to one reading it fine

75. Arrow or blade in perfect line
Each noble falcon, wings spread

76. Continuous hunting, resting unsaid
Large claws for hunting steadfast

77. Scorching whatever the hunter has grasped
Talons like a sickle unleashed

78. To reap birds' lives without ceased
Hunters' living thereby made free

79. Worthy of naming kitchen deputy
Fine the birds, serious and playful

80. Diving, then to sky rising graceful
The lofty Crane, grand in repute

81. Announcing news without refute
Like a Caliph who came

82. Corrupting earth, bloodshed and blame
Seeking fortune impatiently

83. As if from sky it's summoned promptly
And each hawk, frightening to behold

84. Like a Jinn to birds, we're told
Bringing many beasts decay

85. Killing many herds at bay
Blessed the royal hawks

86. Without peer or flaw
Exclusively endowed with perfect reason

87. Humps like domes in their season
That hump, by my life

88. Worthy of King of the Hunchback's wife
Prepared groups came forth

89. With hounds and leopards of worth
Each leopard, carry noble

90. Seeing prey, it ropes and holds
Blessed its approach and withdrawal

91. Facing state with canine full
As if its sharpness makes it bleed

92. Burning stars with flame conceded
Bearing some old friends

93. Marks for brows, beauty trends
Unseen the like of its engraving

94. How not, when Ibn Muqla 'tis craving
Sulooqi pedigrees unlimited

95. Motivate reward for feet fleet
Twisting hearts, claws spreading

96. Marvel, a twister deploying
Hunting with might or just walking

97. Reaching wishes running unbalking
Like a bow but more like an arrow

98. Piercing clouds with meteors bright and sparrow
Seeing steers, it charges swift

99. Like Mars rising with Bull adrift
Below its grip, ears bend

100. Waiting for its legs to offend
Were it possible for it to overtake the sun

101. It would not be called gazelle for its run
Each cave lion assists its worth

102. Mighty over dens of the earth
Nearly seeking stairs to the sky

103. Or in earth, tunnels whereby
Alas, from greed in hunt

104. Those hounds all tricks blunt
Until the matter was done

105. Birds circled, to dust they stun
Between gardens we stood dignified

106. Ruling their spheres far and wide
Their foolish birds came

107. As if mourners proclaiming
But our claws laid siege

108. To partridges and cranes
When flock finished its stand

109. Threads rejoined in the sand
Those beasts lay dead

110. As if the land their blood shed
Or meadows bloomed red

111. Their dead like infidels
Death their fate, and hell

112. The sight pleased hearts
With meat and fat as sweet tarts

113. By God, the hated scene
Meaning's spring from leaves green

114. Filled our hands with triumph neat
Thanking fate we were compete

115. Circling the victorious king
Like stars round the moon's ring

116. Muhammad defender of Ahmad's creed
The King, son of King Muyiidd

117. People said lucky his share
I said, yes, and my portion his care

118. As a child, the lofty he reached
Since the cradle, Mahdi entreached

119. Nursed with weaned milk tips
Intermingled like milk sips

120. Between notebooks of flags and signs
Revered by pens' confines

121. Firm, gentle wielding the sword
Rewarding with pen, book award

122. Were he to touch a rock, a river burst
Accompanying a star, a full moon birthed

123. By his fortune, bounties sealed
So on all fronts, the Seal

124. No injustice under his castle of might
Save upon enemies and wealth profiteered right

125. Consider his love of hunt excessive
We are trained for his battle prepasis

126. Don't you see the dinar fearful
In the crook's palm, dry and tearful

127. O you who traverse horse and sand
Seeking heights, arriving by caravan

128. When you contemplate his triumphant stand
Bind to it your waist's most precious band

129. A king, if pondered, a king declared
Cut down by fate's scissors fair

130. Like full moon in its halo and perfection
Like a towering height in its poise and discretion

131. Bow before him, world of men
An inheritance from Adam gained

132. No harm to stand in his camp's protection
To taste his sweetest honey description

133. A vision healing pride in people
A copy responding to the original

134. His home no enmity would dare approach
Successful gate leading to hopes

135. In his shade, I am rich, need no land
As one settled in Muzan no villages demand

136. His gifts in succession relayed
As I recount Jabir and Ata's tales

137. Clutching the Muyiidd's generosity
Praising Muhammad's decree

138. Seeking old favour or romance anew
No quest went astray therein nor me too

139. My words gain more vividness thereby
As if wine when decanted thereby

140. You have enough of my verse eulogizing
And my poetry empowered, Turkish rising
