9. Passing by the sides of the valley, with a lock
Like a date cluster, neither peeled nor shaken off

10. As if the forearms, when she strains
And shelters in the shade among the trees her enemies

11. The forearms of unruly Jad brought him down
Until fate accomplished what it ordained for him

12. So convey to our people, if you come to them with an excuse
