1. Sleeplessness has vanished from your eyes
And tears that used to flow ceaselessly

2. An intruder in the heart that stirs up illness
And sorrow that was once forbidden to access

3. The gathering of tears upon depression
Has made the chest its place of pain

4. Trickling pearls and pouring forth
Their flow resembles a grieving rain

5. For the loss of the brave Hashimites
And the best of intercessors combined

6. In the presence of the Merciful, he pours forth sins
And to him Abu Hasan was obedient

7. Steps guided toward his happiness and protector
To the pleasure of his Creator, quick

8. The Prophet characterized him with selection
In a way that exhausted the speakers

9. And on the day of Ghadir Khumm
He clarified the authority for him had he been obeyed

10. But the men paid it allegiance
And I have not seen the like of it, a sale

11. I cannot curse them but
The first of them did evil with that

12. Thus he who was closest to justice
Became closest to tyranny, most wasteful of them

13. They wasted the order of their leader and so were misguided
And most upright in the face of events, gone

14. Say to the clan of Umayyah wherever they are
Even if you fear the search party and spies

15. Alas for an era in which I was
Guide, obedient, complying to you

16. May Allah starve those you fed
And feed those made hungry by your tyranny

17. And curse openly the elite of his nation
When it governs the land and the corrupt

18. With the approved politics, Hashimite
Who will be the spring, alive, for his nation

19. And unwavering lion in the arena
Able to straighten the community
