9. like an emaciated camel whose saddlebearer
cannot carry heavy loads?

14. Censure hits the mark about them when

like our rulers acting them out.

17. They intimidate us with the blindness of perdition
as they kindled the fires of warzones.

18. Each year they initiate heresies
by which they mislead their followers, then mire.

19. Shame on the people of religion that after firmness
they incline to innovations without change.

22. Our lifebloods are the tithes to them
while our pasture among them is leanness and deprivation.

nor equipment on the people's journeys.

24. O Lord, do we seek victory over them by other than You?
Is there anyone we rely upon but You?

43. No use for latecomers to turn back,
or harm upon the early starters to hasten.

we will have downpours without cloudbursts to herald.

48. We repay them in kind: for each sa'a, sa'as,
and for each register, registers.
